Starting at minute 1:05
Atom: Finally, this day has come after practicing for a while.
Reporter: Are you excited?
Atom: I am excited because it’s my first birthday concert where I have to control everything, so I’m especially excited. Thank you to the CEO for giving me this opportunity.
Reporter: Did you prepare hard for it?
Atom: If the max is a hundred, I gave it a million. Everyone will get to see something new. I haven’t even seen myself in this version before.
Reporter: What is “Slay Down”?
Atom: Actually, Slay Down is about dancing and performing. In the past, I was an artist first, I danced first. New fans who just got to know me might not have seen me from that angle before. So I wanted to bring it up and show it, which is the origin of Slay Down.
Reporter: Why this theme?
Atom: It’s what I like. P’Faye let me think about what I wanted to do for my birthday and what style, giving me freedom. I used to dance and sing often. I wanted it to have more of a performance aspect, to be different from my current path as an actor.
Reporter: What kind of look will we see that we haven’t seen before?
Atom: You will see new activities that I’ve never done before in my life. I can say it just like that. Today is the first day I’m doing it.
Reporter: Are there wire stunts, water?
Atom: Don’t guess, or I might accidentally slip up. You have to go see for yourself.
Reporter: There will definitely be swinging on wires.
Atom: I don’t know, I’m not telling.
Reporter: What do you want your fans to prepare?
Atom: Prepare your minds and bodies for the show. Let’s have fun together, scream together. You have to scream, and I will scream too.
Reporter: How old are you this year?
Atom: I’m 25 this year. Benjaphas*
Remark:
According to traditional Thai belief and culture, the age of 25 is considered a crucial transition or turning point in life, stepping from adolescence fully into adulthood. This often involves making major life decisions, such as starting serious work and taking on more responsibilities. In terms of astrological or superstitious beliefs, it is often viewed as a period where one might experience bad luck or severe incidents easily.
Reporter: It’s going pretty great, though.
Atom: It’s a good Benjaphas. After 25, I just hope things keep being good.
Reporter: Many people are scared of the Benjaphas year.
Atom: Since I was young, I was scared of Benjaphas too. It seemed thrilling, like there would be accidents and such. But I just learned that there is a good side to it as well. I pray, pay my respects to the monks, and hope for only good things.
Reporter: How has the journey of your 25 years been?
Atom: Throughout these 25 years, I’ve gotten to do many things I never thought I would do. I feel that I will continue to grow. I will still look for many new things to do.
Reporter: What is challenging in your life?
Atom: For 25 years, it’s living life… Everything in life is a challenge. When we encounter new things we’ve never faced before, we have to adapt to everything in life.
Reporter: What will you do after 25?
Atom: After 25, I want to keep working like this. Acting, singing, and dancing—doing them all concurrently.
Reporter: What is the gift for yourself?
Atom: That’s hard. I don’t really buy gifts for myself. I usually buy them for others.
Reporter: Is there anything you want?
Atom: I want to rest more than anything. If I’m free, I’d probably just go somewhere I want to go to relax.
Reporter: What did Faye give you for your birthday?
Atom: She already told me. Should I spoil it? Because everyone keeps asking what I got from her. She already gave it to me, but we have to wait… wait for the right time to reveal what it is. It’s not a physical object, but it is… I can’t say it.
Reporter: Three words, please. Is it big?
Atom: It’s grand, quality, and development…
Reporter: Land?
Atom: Probably not yet, P’Faye would probably be stressed. It’s something that, in this life, I have never received.
Reporter: Is it something that can be bought?
Atom: It’s bought, but it’s not a physical object.
Reporter: A star?
Atom: Buying a star, really?
Reporter: Were you shocked when you found out?
Atom: When I found out, I was very shocked. The first time, I was extremely shocked. I asked her, “Are you really giving this to me?” She said, “Yes, of course.” I went to tell my parents, and both of them were shocked too, because it has a lot of value.
Reporter: Buying a house?
Atom: Stop, I might accidentally spill it.
Reporter: How did Faye know that you’d never received it before?
Atom: I mean, it’s normally something that no one would buy for each other. But she observed me to see what I needed.
Reporter: So she’s observant.
Atom: Even I didn’t think I wanted it. I’m glad that she pays attention to the details.
Reporter: Your birthdays are close to each other.
Atom: Yes.
Reporter: And what about your gift to Faye?
Atom: We went to dinner, and I gave her a shawl.
Reporter: Was the food delicious?
Atom: Very delicious. The cake was very sweet. So, yeah.
Reporter: How is Faye special to you?
Atom: P’Faye is someone who is very special to me. Normally, I feel most comfortable being around my family. Even though she’s not family, she makes me feel comfortable, like I’m with family. I feel that she’s lovely. When I’m with her, I feel safe.
Reporter: She’s a safe zone.
Atom: Excuse me?
Reporter: She’s a safe zone all the time.
Atom: Yes, yes. She is absolutely a safe zone. Like when she helps me make a decision, I feel more confident in her decisions than when I decide on my own.
Reporter: That means you talk about everything.
Atom: Yes, we talk about everything.
Reporter: What is Faye Peraya to you?
Atom: A Safe Zone.
Reporter: What do you want to tell the fans?
Atom: Today is a big step, it’s my dream. I’m very happy that both Thai and international fans—even those who couldn’t make it and are watching the livestream—thank you for coming to complete my birthday.
Reporter: What versions of Atom will we get to see next?
Atom: After this, I’m going to work on a new series. I’m currently preparing for a series that will be released next year. Once this event is over, the work begins.
Reporter: What have you prepared for it?
Atom: If anyone has secretly read this fiction already, it’s going to be a feel-good, fun story.
Reporter: Will it be sweet?
Atom: Definitely. It will be different from the previous one, which was a drama. The new one will be feel-good.

Reporter: Did Faye come today?
Atom: Of course she did, otherwise I’d be sulking.
Reporter: When you sulk, how do you do it?
Atom: I’ll just be quiet. But she will come and make up with me.
Reporter: How does she make up with you?
Atom: She’ll send a chat. Last time, I saw her go on a live stream and play the guitar.
Reporter: Did you like it?
Atom: I liked it. It was cute.
Reporter: A message for the fans.
Atom: I want everyone to have fun. If I mess up my dancing, please scream for me anyway.
Reporter: Thank you.
Atom: Thank you.
