Faye on “What’s in a Superstar’s Bag” by NineEntertainment
J’Hwahwa: It’s time for What’s in a Superstar’s Bag with Faye Peraya!
Faye: Sawasdee ka!
J’Hwahwa: I’m outshined today, I’m meeting a beauty.
Faye: Always beautiful, always.
J’Hwahwa: I’m barefaced today.
Faye: Completely barefaced?
J’Hwahwa: Should I just wipe everything off? (laughs)
J’Hwahwa: I want to open your bag already. What’s inside?
Faye: I had to open the shop today, so I kept it minimal, just whatever I could fit in the bag.
J’Hwahwa: I feel bad for your bag. Why is it all misshapen?
Faye: You can open it… There’s nothing… nothing ummm (laughs).
J’Hwahwa: Let’s go one by one.
Faye: Mouth spray.
J’Hwahwa: Since you have love scenes in your series, you need that mouth spray.
Faye: Yes, absolutely. Also, a mask, a red envelope, hand cream, and a mirror.
J’Hwahwa: You’ve got to have those. Why is your mirror so small?
Faye: It’s portable.
J’Hwahwa: I can’t even see my face (laughs).
Faye: And these are my glasses.
Faye: Lipstick.
Faye: A scrunchie, cutting hair is tiring, so I use it to exercise my fingers.
J’Hwahwa: Does it help?
Faye: It does. Your fingers get tense, so it’s relaxing.
Faye: This is for when I have allergies, just spray it.
Faye: Tissues for when I use public restrooms.
J’Hwahwa: Everyone needs that.
Faye: Inhaler and yellow oil, for insect bites, dizziness… You can apply it. It’s herbal.
J’Hwahwa: My grandma carries those too (laughs).
Faye: Gen Y can use them too.
Faye: Balm.
J’Hwahwa: A lot of people are addicted to that.
Faye: When I feel sore, I massage myself.
Faye: And for when my clothes get dirty. It’s always unlucky when I wear white. Whatever I eat splashes on it, especially when I’m in a rush.
Faye: Headphones, that’s it.
J’Hwahwa: What kind of music do you usually listen to?
Faye: I like country music, or what we call “Look Toong” (laughs).
J’Hwahwa: So you like upbeat, fun songs.
Faye: I like songs with flute sounds.
J’Hwahwa: What about your current work, Peraya?
Faye: Khanthong Studio! (laughs)
Faye: And Broken (of) Love. Everyone will see me returning to the series scene. Honestly, I’m not competing with anyone, just with myself. The hardest part is finding time to do everything because I do so many things.
J’Hwahwa: Right.
Faye: I try to compete with myself and do my best.
J’Hwahwa: You have so much work, it’s like you’re desperate for money. (laughs)
Faye: I’ve just started my business.
J’Hwahwa: You’re already so rich, though.
Faye: I’ve just started, I have to keep going.
J’Hwahwa: What are you doing now?
Faye: Clothing brand, series, and a hair salon.
J’Hwahwa: Where do you keep all your money?
Faye: Just the usual (laughs).
J’Hwahwa: Where did you study hairdressing?
Faye: In England, at Vidal Sassoon Academy. I studied seriously, started in Thailand, finished the course, then went to England.
J’Hwahwa: If someone wants a haircut, what should they do?
Faye: Just make a booking.
J’Hwahwa: Will you be there all the time?
Faye: I only take bookings.
J’Hwahwa: (laughs)
J’Hwahwa: Please promote your work, both the series and your salon.
Faye: Please support and follow me. My salon is at Piman 49, called Khanthong Studio.
J’Hwahwa: Thank you so much, Faye.
Faye: Thank you.
