Faye Opens Up About Her New Partner at Dr. Joe The Demis Event

Starting at minute 2

Faye: I’m here to congratulate Dr. Joe The Demis and everyone who received an award. It’s such an honor to be invited.

Reporter: (I cannot hear well)

Faye: Yes, just as expected. It’s something I’ve been following, and I’m really happy for everyone who won.

Reporter: Do you have any projects coming next year?

Faye: Next year, Broken of Love will be launched for everyone to watch. Please stay tuned.

Reporter: Early next year? Or do we still have to wait?

Faye: Around early year, probably March or April.

Reporter: You’re in the preparation phase now?

Faye: Yes, we’re currently preparing.

Reporter: And this is the first project of your company? Your official debut? Faye: Yes, that’s right.

Reporter: You’re producing it yourself. How is that? You must manage everything.

Faye: Oh, it’s very exhausting. Normally, as an actress, I already have a lot to prepare. But being the producer myself, I have to handle everything step by step. I have to be involved in every part of the production. It’s tough, but I’m giving it my all.

Reporter: Do you feel pressured?

Faye: Not really. I have a great team and talented people around me who will help make this series a success. I’m not pressured, just focused on doing my best. We all have different roles, and the team around me is truly solid.

Reporter: Was it difficult to form the team?

Faye: Yes, it was. It took quite some time to search and select. Like I said… A woman’s voice becomes loud.

Faye turns toward the sound.

Reporter: That’s not about us.

Faye: Where were we?

Reporter: Was it difficult to find your team?

Faye: The production team, directors, writers, they’re all very strong. I was given opportunities by senior mentors. They helped me a lot. I’m so happy and reassured to have this team.

Reporter: In your company, besides you, who else is signed?

Faye: I’ll reveal that later. We’ll announce everything at once.

Reporter: When will you reveal your co-star?

Faye: Soon. We’ll announce it and inform everyone.

Reporter: Are you excited about who will be paired with you?

Faye: Very excited. I hope everyone will like it. I’m still weighing my options. There are several candidates.

Reporter: Have you finalized who it will be?

Faye: Not yet. It’s hard to decide. It’s delicate. But it won’t be long.

Reporter: What qualities must your co-star have?

Faye: Someone who can stand beside me, someone who loves acting as much as I do, and someone with a sweet personality. (laughs)

Reporter: You’re already blushing even without announcing who it is.

Reporter: You must already have someone in mind, that’s why you’re blushing.

Reporter: Is it a newcomer or someone established? Someone I might know?

Faye: Everyone … might …I’m not sure if you know her.

Reporter: Have they been in the industry before?

Reporter: If I see their face, will I go, “Ohh, it’s them”?

Reporter: Give us initials.

Faye: This feels like a trap question.

Reporter: Can you tell us what caught your attention about this person?

Faye: There are several candidates. I can’t specify. Some are new faces, some are familiar. I’ll let you know later.

Reporter: This person who made you blush, are they a new or old actor?

Faye: I’m blushing because I don’t know how to answer. I’m afraid I might slip and say something wrong.

Reporter: Will you still be in the same position as before?

(Meaning: the pairing format—left/right name placement like EngLot, LingOrm, LMSY, GinJay)

Faye: Same position? I think so… Yes, same position.

Reporter: Ah, okay.

Faye: Every time you ask me, I panic. Your questions always catch me off guard.

Reporter: What stage are you in now regarding choosing your co-star?

Faye: You’ll know soon.

Faye laughs.

Reporter: Now that you’ll have a new pairing…

Faye reaches out to hold the reporter’s hand.

Female Reporter: Your hand is cold!

Reporter: Now that you’re getting a new pairing, how are you preparing for the reactions from fans?

Faye: I try to keep things balanced for myself and for the fans. What do they want? What do they want to see? But what’s certain is that I’m very dedicated to this project. I hope fans will love it. From the feedback I’ve seen so far, thank you to the fans who’ve been waiting and who are ready to support the new pairing. I really hope you’ll like it.

Reporter: Are you afraid of backlash? How will you explain things to the fans?

Faye: Honestly, fans have been telling me to have a pairing already. It’s been so long. When they see everyone else with a partner and it’s just me and Sunny… sometimes it turns into sympathy like, “Please, let her have someone already.”

Reporter: Have you talked to Sunny about it?

Faye: Sunny also feels sorry for mommy now.

Reporter: From your previous press conference, you’ve truly moved on?

Faye: Yes. Everyone is now focused on their own careers. We’ve all moved forward. Whatever happened, I truly wish everyone well on their path, including myself.

Reporter: Have you seen their press conference about psychologists? What do you think?

Faye: Can I not talk about that anymore? It’s almost the New Year. Whatever has passed, I want it to stay in the past. I want everyone to choose the path they love and be happy. We’re still colleagues in the entertainment industry. No matter what, we still wish each other well. I don’t feel the need to think negatively about anyone. We just do our best in our own roles. Whatever happened, it’s a new year soon. Let’s leave it behind.

Reporter: You still wish your former partner well?

Faye: Yes. Just like before, I still wish her well. We’re colleagues in the same industry. There’s no reason to think badly or intend harm. I still wish her the best.

Reporter: You once said you would take legal action against comments that invade your privacy.

Faye: Yes. Sometimes news is untrue. When you hear it from hundreds of people, the story changes, and some things become damaging. Reports can affect my work. I am generally a very patient and forgiving person. But when it impacts my work or the people around me, it becomes unfair.

Reporter: Are there people who now fall into that category?

Faye: Yes, some already do.

Reporter: From the previous press conference?

Faye: The international fans who crossed the line are being handled by the international legal team. For Thai fans, there are also individuals involved and the cases are in process.

Reporter: Many? Like ten people?

Faye: Around that number.

Reporter: What counts as crossing the line in Thailand?

Faye: Sometimes if I’m near someone, people accuse me of being romantically involved with that person. It makes it hard to work or live my life. People who don’t know the truth might believe it. Some things simply aren’t true. I let it go before, but they didn’t stop. Kindness doesn’t work with some people, so I have to use legal measures instead.

Reporter: So you won’t accept apology flower baskets?

Faye: I won’t accept any apology baskets. No apologies. We’ll deal with it in court. I don’t even want compensation. I just feel there needs to be boundaries when expressing opinions. We have feelings. The people around me aren’t strong enough to handle this toxicity.

Reporter: Has the situation improved since your last press conference?

Faye: It has calmed down. Some people apologized. But it depends on perspective; some see things positively, some don’t.

Reporter: When you spoke out, fans who love you showed a lot of support.

Faye: I saw it. Thank you for all the support from fans and from Fayemily. I want people to appreciate my work more than the drama. Whatever happens, let it go. But I understand the fans, they probably feel the same as I do. And it’s almost New Year’s.

Reporter: Early next year, we’ll definitely see your new pairing?

Faye: Yes, definitely early next year.

Reporter: Give us initials!

Reporter: You look so nervous, which means you already have someone in mind.

Faye: Help me! Reporter: Please say something to tease your upcoming pairing.

Faye: Arghh!

Reporter: Okay, compose yourself, Action!

Faye: Next year, Broken of Love, please support us. We will invite everyone to the press conference. You can ask anything on that day.

Reporter: When? Next week?

Faye: That would be too soon. Early next year. Oh! And Khanthong will be opening soon.

Reporter: Boss Nawat is allowing All Stars contestants to return to compete. You were mentioned in the list.

Faye: I don’t have time for anything anymore. Let me just cheer for those who will compete in All Stars. I’ve hung up my high heels already.

(Meaning: I won’t be competing.)
