Faye Peraya Gives Interview on “Praew and YOU”

Minute 0:37

Faye: Sawasdee ka, I’m Faye Peraya Malisorn.

Q: When you think of love, what comes to mind?

Faye: Giving and receiving. Thinking about happiness, something like that.

Q: Your favorite dish?

Faye: “Khanom jeen nam ya pa with chicken feet”. It’s a dish my grandmother used to make for me, very delicious. It’s been a favorite since I was a child. After that would be “som tam” (papaya salad).

Q: A possession you treasure the most?

Faye: My blanket. It’s very personal. I use it to wrap myself in. It’s something special that I wouldn’t share with anyone.

Q: A favorite song?

Faye: “Dok Mai Nai Jai Chan” (The Flower in My Heart). It reminds me of my grandmother. (Faye sings a bit.) It’s a song I think about whenever I feel happy. When I listen to it, I think of my grandmother in heaven. It’s a song that brings me happiness and reminds me of her.

Q: Your favorite place?

Faye: Right now, it’s my own rose garden that I carefully planted. I try to take care of it as best as I can. It helps heal my heart and clear my mind. No matter how tired I am, when I cut flowers and put them in a vase, it feels very homey and comforting. That’s my favorite place.

Q: Your first love?

Faye: A puppy named Mudmee. I loved it so much. I was in grade 10 at the time. The moment I saw it, I fell in love. It was my first love. I always wanted to leave school early just to go home and see it.

Q: What are you like when you fall in love?

Faye: I probably just keep looking at them, but don’t dare to talk. I can’t really express my feelings. I just look at them and feel shy.

Q: Do you make the first move, or do people approach you first?

Faye: Based on the previous answer, I don’t even dare to look at them properly, so I guess I get approached first. If I were to make a move, I’d probably just put myself in a situation where they could approach me. If they still don’t notice, I’d just be extra nice and talk to them more than usual.

Q: What kind of person are you weak for?

Faye: Someone kind and with character. I like capable people. They don’t have to be impressive to everyone, just impressive in my eyes.

Q: Are you jealous, or do people get jealous of you? Faye: I get jealous, but I don’t like it when someone is jealous of me because it feels uncomfortable. When I’m jealous, I don’t confront them directly; I just keep it to myself and find a way to say something like “this doesn’t feel okay” without saying it outright.

Q: When you’re deeply in love, what are you like?

Faye: I’m someone who likes to spoil my partner. If I know they like something, I’ll buy everything they like. Does that count as a “spoiling type”? I guess it does.

Q: On Valentine’s Day, what would you give your partner?

Faye: Whatever they want, I’d buy it for them. But what I really want to give is a card, because feelings can’t be bought. You have to write them, describe them, and create them yourself. You can buy a gift and feel happy when you see it, but the memories inside a handwritten card can’t be replaced.

Q: Your dream date location?

Faye: At home. I’d decorate the house with flowers, set the dining table, cook and plate the food myself. I’d spend time creating everything; it would make me very happy.

Q: How would you rate your own level of romance?

Faye: Since I’m someone who loves deeply, I’d give myself a 10 out of 10. Confidence first. Whoever comes into my life in the future can decide their score later, but for now, I’ll promote my profile as a ten.

Q: A way to say “I love you” without using the word “love”?

Faye: You don’t have to be perfect, just be right for me. Being “good enough” doesn’t have to be for anyone else, just good enough for me.

Q: Anything you want to say to your fans?

Faye: Fans know that when I say “Drink a lot of water,” it’s actually my indirect way of saying I love you.

They already know how much I love them. Fans are my motivation every day. I’ll always say the same thing: we will always have each other. Fans do their part as fans, and I’ll do my part. We’ll love each other the best we can. No matter where we turn, we’ll find each other.
